Staff and students have been working hard to prepare for our upcoming Winter Concert. Our Winter Concert will be held on Thursday, December 19 at 9:00 a.m.and 1:00p.m. Students should Dress to Impress as our Spirit Week indicates on the school calendar, previously sent home. Families should park in the rear parking lot and enter door 11. We also have Spirit Week -December 16-December 20.

Students have outdoor play each day weather permitting. Please make sure that your child is prepared for the weather with a coat, gloves, hat, scarf, etc. Students will play outdoors if the weather is 25 degrees and greater (inclusive of wind chill factor). Students will play indoors if the weather falls below 25 degrees (inclusive of wind chill factor).

This month is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the history, culture, and contributions of Native American and Alaska Native people. Our school wide celebration of Native American Heritage Month/Literacy on November 14 at 5:30p.m.

Reminder from Nurse's Office

This is a reminder to turn in your child's physical/immunization records to Nurse Kari Lewis; [email protected]. If your child is ill and has a fever/vomiting, keep them at home until they are symptom free for 24 hours without medication. Students with a mild cough or runny nose may attend school. Please report any contagious illness (hand foot mouth, flu, strep, Covid) to the nurse.

Our Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on October 10 was a hit! Thanks to Mariachi Estrellas de Waukegan and Ballet Folklorico Tayahua for their fantastic performances. Families had a blast making mini piƱatas and more. Our parent volunteers and staff worked together to make this event memorable!
